The Ibanez Universe series is a series of electric guitar models manufactured by Hoshino Gakki, first introduced in 1990. It is the seven-string guitar signature series of guitarist Steve Vai, accompanying his six-string guitar signature series, the Ibanez JEM series.

With the introduction in 1990, the Ibanez Universe models were the first seven-string electric guitars issued by a major company.

This guitar has a Wizard-7 5pc Maple/Walnut neck with KTS™ TITANIUM rods and a Rosewood fretboard with Green dot inlay. Also wide 24 Jumbo frets with Premium fret edge treatment.

This beauty comes with a American Basswood body.
