Alba Baptista has stolen Chris Evans’ heart.
Page Six exclusively broke the news that the pair got married in an intimate, at-home wedding ceremony in September 2023.
Guests, including Marvel co-stars Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Renner and Chris Hemsworth, had to sign NDAs and give up their phones before the highly secure event started.
The wedding came less than a year after news broke that Evans, who was born 1981, and the Portuguese actress, who was born in 1997, had been secretly dating “for over a year.”
“They are in love, and Chris has never been happier,” a source told People in November 2022. “His family and friends all adore her.”
The couple confirmed their relationship shortly after in Page Six’s exclusive photos which showed them holding hands while going for an afternoon stroll through Central Park.

Who is Baptista?
Baptista is a Luso-Brazilian actress. Her Portuguese mother met her Brazilian father while traveling to Rio de Janeiro for her work as a translator. Baptista, who was born in 1997, was raised in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal.
She clearly took after her translator mom, as she speaks a whopping five languages: Portuguese, English, German, French and Spanish.
What has she acted in?
Baptista launched her acting career at just 16 years old when she starred in Simão Cayatte’s 2014 short film “Miami.”
Her performance was an instant success, and she won her first major award for the film: Best Actress at the Festival Ibérico de Ciné.
Since then, her acting career has only continued to take off. She had major roles in movies such as “Magnetick Pathways,” “Patrick” and “The Child.” Most recently, Baptista has had breakout roles in the Netflix show “Warrior Nun,” which marked her English-language debut, and the movie “Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris.”
Baptista has already won an impressive amount of awards for her acting career, including the European Shooting Star award at the Berlin Film Festival. She was also named one of IMDb’s Top 10 Breakout Stars of 2020.

When she’s not acting or spending time with her heartthrob beau, Baptista enjoys traveling, yoga, reading, art and spending time with friends, according to her Instagram feed.
Humanitarian work is also important to her. In 2018, the actress spent “an extensive amount” of time at an orphanage in Cambodia.
How did she meet Evans?
While it’s unclear how Baptista and Evans met, they have been following each other on Instagram for over a year.
The “Captain America” star also shared a photo of jack-o’-lanterns to his feed this Halloween, which fans noticed bore a striking resemblance to his rumored girlfriend’s mom’s profile picture.
Evans told People that he hopes to get married and become a dad one day.
“That’s absolutely something I want,” he shared. “Some things you want just for you, or just for my family and my friends.”
