Four fennec foxes (three males and one female) were born at the Living Desert Zoo on April 13 this year and, thanks to photographs released by The Desert Sun, we can now witness the cuteness.

Fennec foxes are the smallest foxes found on Earth, reaching up to around 41 centimeters excluding the tail, but they also sport a enormous pair of ears that function to keep the foxes cool in their hot North African habitat (and of course, they make them look totally adorable). These animals are also nocturnal which helps them cope with the scorching heat as during the day they reside in underground dens. But equally at night time it can get pretty chilly so their long, thick hair helps to keep them warm when they’re out looking for food. 

According to a news-release from the Zoo, the babies will spend their first 6-12 months at The Living Desert before being sent to other institutions to be paired with unrelated foxes or added to social groups. If you're lucky enough to be in the area, you can catch a glimpse of the babes in the Tennity Wildlife Hospital.
