It's been several years since the zoo has had fennec foxes. Now brothers Ollie and Artie have moved in.

Fennec foxes, a fan favorite species, have returned to the Milwaukee County Zoo after an absence of several years.

One-year-old brothers Ollie and Artie recently moved into the night side of the small mammals building.

Zookeepers are letting the foxes — which are considered fully grown — get used to their surroundings as they're "shy and a bit unsure" at the moment.

In the wild, fennec foxes are found in North Africa and throughout the Sahara Desert. They have the largest ears relative to body size of any member of the canid family (known colloquially as dogs).
