Class B motorhomes are small, streamlined and ready to roll. Nimble and more fuel-efficient than Class C motorhomes, Class B vans offer living space best suited for small groups. Most Class Bs do not come with slideouts, yet they still offer luxurious amenities like galley kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms.

Today in Iceland, it is illegal to overnight or camp in cars, trailers, motorhomes, campervans, or any type of motorized vehicle outside of a designated campsite unless you have written permission from the landowner – which is quite unlikely that you will get if you can even find the property owner.

But just because a campervan doesn't offer the luxury and extra space of an RV, don't think you'll be roughing it. Compared to camping in Iceland in a tent, travelling Iceland in a campervan is much more comfortable and, better yet, there's no set-up required and no more wrangling with tent poles or other gear.

Do the campervans have toilets and showers? No, our campers don't have a toilet or shower. But don't worry toilets are all around and accessible to traveling tourists.
