the jackery 1000 generator with 2 100 watt solar panels is a modern-day MUST-HAVE for everyone!

whether you live in a cabin in the woods or on the road, in a house, a small apartment or even(and especially) a little rented room, when you dont have control of the power and it suddenly goes out the jackery 1000 is a MUST HAVE-ON-HAND item for any intelligent person! its 1000 watt capacity and only 22lb size makes it great for easy to transport and store in a closet.its the best value power-to-size ratio of the jackery line. it has 3 regular plugs. so when the lights go out in a storm and your neighbors houses go black for miles around you can avoid the brawls at the local gas pump as everyone with gas generators line up for gas only to find the pumps dont work anyway without electricity! LOL! but you can just plug in your lamp, your tv and your self contained video game system and enjoy yourself all night! the next day use the optional solar panels to recharge the unit for 7 or 8 hrs till its full again. (in constant direct sun) use just your tv and your clear tv-type broadcast antenna to watch local tv on free airwaves while others have nothing. the jackery 1000 also has 3 usb ports for phones or whathaveyou and a dc charger for your car lighter port.. this unit can also power mini fridge coolers up to 10 hours as well to keep food fresh. with 2 100 watt solar panelsis the most cost effective way to charge it. free. lol! but it also has a plug for a wall socket to charge it as well. can be charged up to 500 times or so. its a modern-day must have for everyone! its like a seatbelt. you may not need it all the time but when you do youre very glad you have it! its not IF its WHEN. be ready. get yourself one today!
Impressive

Solid (dense, but not too heavy to be easily moved from room to room as needed) and well-made. It arrived with a 70% charge, and was up too 100% in just a few hours after being plugged into wall. After 10 days, charge remained at 100%, and we tested to make sure it would deliver the energy it had stored. It did! The cooling fan is a bit loud, but when one needs an emergency supply of electricity, that's a very minor concern.

It's pricier here than at that Seattle-based e-commerce collossus, but Walmart offers a 30-day return, while Amazon doesn't. In the unlikely event you get a dud, it's safer to buy here.

Highly recommended.
More solar panels needed

I think a review already is a bit soon as I had had it only three days but Lowes asked so here you are. Have not yet plugged anything into it to power, it looks very nice and think it will be a good purchase but selling this power station with a 100 watt solar panel was a huge mistake. Every day I have set it up in the morning to charge and am getting 5-6 hours of charge in late October. The unit had 28% charge when I unboxed it and after three days of charging with no load, it now is at 78 % charge. I assume it will take five days before it reaches 100%. Not at all what I expected. This unit should have had at least a 200 solar panel and have seen it sold that way.
MY BEST PURCHASE YET!

I mainly bought the Jackery for my weekend camping excursions, and two weeks later Hurricane Beryl came through. It knocked out our power for three days. I was able to charge all our phones, flashlights, usb fan, I ran my standing fan during the nights, and also brewed my coffee in the mornings! I even used the instant pot to make corn beef while charging it to the solar panels. An excellent power source and a lifesaver as well! Highly recommend, and am completely satisfied with Jackery’s product!
