Security in a black and orange box
Jamski· Review provided by lowes.com · December 21, 2024
No, it's not cheap, but hey, there's a reason so many people generically refer to these things as Jackerys...they work. Quite nicely in fact. I've even tested my 1000v2 with my CPAP and it works a treat, even on AC. On DC, It's downright stingy and could probably run for weeks, though you will need an appropriate adapter. Still, it will run anything you can plug into the wall. What's more, the included 100w solar panel also works nicely, though if left to its own devices would probably take a full day or longer to fully charge . Still, add another 100w panel (you can run two at once) and on a sunny day it cuts it down to half a day...very reasonable. All in all, it's a small price to pay for power security, and they back it with a stout 5 year warranty. Surely Jackery is the Apple of portable power supplies.
More solar panels needed

I think a review already is a bit soon as I had had it only three days but Lowes asked so here you are. Have not yet plugged anything into it to power, it looks very nice and think it will be a good purchase but selling this power station with a 100 watt solar panel was a huge mistake. Every day I have set it up in the morning to charge and am getting 5-6 hours of charge in late October. The unit had 28% charge when I unboxed it and after three days of charging with no load, it now is at 78 % charge. I assume it will take five days before it reaches 100%. Not at all what I expected. This unit should have had at least a 200 solar panel and have seen it sold that way.
Works great! But buy a second solar panel!

I just received this. I have tested it. It functions exactly as I expected. It is easy to use and easy to recharge. I tested it with a large television and dvd player and some lamps attached. It will be great during the next power outage. I recharged it using 2 100-watt solar panels. The one solar panel it came with works well, but you really need two 100-watt solar panels if you don’t want it to take forever to charge.
fridge running now

Runs the things I ask it too, the fridge, tv, fan, and any minor electrical things. The solar panel can extend the runtime by a little bit, but dont expect it to fully charge the unit in a reasonable time. Can get about 5 hours fridge time, which is enough to keep it cool all day, then I recharge from line at another location, takes about an hour from electrical line to recharge. Even though my well pump is only 1/2 HP (400 watts), due to starting current, it would not run that. I would also suggest getting the car recharge cord to charge it from the car as needed.
